Robert Rich and Farius: "Zerkalo"

Zerkalo is a collaboration between Robert Rich and Faryus, (Andrey Sadovnikov) an ambient composer in St. Petersburg, Russia. Zerkalo means Mirror in Russian, yet another fond reference to a Tarkovsky film. Zerkalo is an intense and slowly moving deep ambient excursion. If you liked Stalker (the collaboration between Robert Rich and B. Lustmord) or Below Zero, then Zerkalo should interest you.

This is a limited edition of 1000 CDs, with only 300 for sale from Robert's website. The remainder will be in Russia. The packaging consists of four color cards and CD inserted into a gatefold and sealed in a clear envelope.
Robert will sign the inside of each of his copies.

After we sell 290 copies, we will remove the item from the order form to avoid confusion. Items will be sent in the sequence that orders are received.

Description Without Place: Filaments

Filaments brings together, for the first time, the field-recording & sample
manipulations of James McDougall (Entia Non) with the more synth-based
skills of Anthony Paul Kerby (The Circular Ruins, Lammergeyer, Nunc Stans).
The result is a remarkable and unified flow of creativity that is ripe with juicy sonic
details and moody atmospheres, and that is woven through with subtle melodic
threads. Contemporary, glitchy, detailed, and musically absorbing, this is a work
to come back to again and again.

Filaments was composed via long-distance collaboration - Australia to Canada.
Final compositions and mixing by APK.

- The Gold Tree Is Blue
- Physical World
- Nostalgia
- Cloister
- Sunday Morning
- Perifery
- She Conceals Herself

You can hear samples of tracks and see details here
